Online and In Person: the 19th Annual “Song of Myself” Marathon

Get ready, we are bringing back the “Song of Myself” marathon for the 19th year! The world has thrown a lot at our humble affair, but with the love and dedication of all the Whitmaniacs out there, we have continued to grow and prosper! That is a testament to the wonderful community and the many people who have brought their unique talents to the annual reading. This year we will be hosting 2 separate marathons. The first will continue the tradition of the online reading which was born from the COVID 19 pandemic. We just couldn’t walk away from the incredible international spirit that has grown through the past 2 years. We want to continue that spirit and make sure that the space is there for all that can’t be in Walt’s home town. Here is some more information on that event, which will be held on June 19, from 4-7pm EST. Signups will be made available soon!

The GREAT news is that we will also be holding an in-person, live reading at the Brooklyn Bridge Park again!!! We are so excited to return and shout all 52 sections  from the rooftops with you. We are working on a final date, but right now we are looking at September when the weather is a little less intense (everyone will certainly remember the monsoon of 2019, the great downpour of 2018, and of course the heatwave of 2017!). Stay tuned for more info coming soon!!!
