Contribute your barbaric yawp to the annual “Song of Myself” Marathon! Hosted by Whitman scholar and NYU professor Karen Karbiener.

The Marathon will be held on Saturday, June 8 from 4:30 – 7 pm. We’ll be led off by thunder-voiced poet Martín Espada, and once again be treated to the spectacular view of Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, and New York Harbor from the Granite Prospect.

We’re open to the elements and we like it that way— so bring your umbrella if it rains. Like Whitman’s poetry, this event is free and open to all.
