Read watery excerpts from Walt Whitman’s poetry in canoes at dawn on the Gowanus Canal  – or listen from the historic Carroll Street Bridge. Readers arrive at the Gowanus Dredgers Boathouse at 7:00 am on the day of the event, audience arrives on bridge at 7:45 am.  Event may be cancelled due to rain by 6:30 am on event date.
